Many families were tragically affected by what may have felt like a plague had struck their small communities. Through consistent and reliable usage of immunization programs by parents and children alike we can do our part to try to decrease the occurrence of these devastating pandemics.
The World Health Organization is not saying if, but when will the Bird Flu affect the world in the same regard. We as a community of people need to start preparing ourselves for this new "plague of our century."
